How do I connect a contract to the business function it supports?
The link between an arrangement and a function is a mandatory column in the filing, and it is the step most registers are missing.

Open Functions & Criticality and choose Add function.

Name the function, describe it, and say whether it is critical or important - with the reasoning.
The reasoning is not a formality. It is what a supervisor reads when they ask why a function was classified the way it was, and a filing is blocked without it.

Open the arrangement that supports it and use Functions this arrangement supports to link them.
You should see: The function listed on the arrangement, with its dependency level.
Worth knowing
Without this link the function identifier column in B_02.02 is empty, and it is a mandatory relation - the package cannot be filed. This is the single most common reason a register that looks complete is not.
One arrangement can support several functions and one function can depend on several arrangements. Record all of them: concentration analysis is only as good as these links.
